*Rendering in 1st Video for iPad takes a lot of memory. If you are having a problem rendering, turn off any apps you having running in the background. To do this, double click the round home button. This will show all the apps you have running. Press and hold an app until they all wiggle. Click the red button on each icon to turn the app off, this will free up the memory needed for 1st Video.
