This App is part of an International Talent Search Contest for all Artists, Bands, Songwriters, Musicians, and Performers who can enter from any country or region in the world. 1st Video Band Inc., is committed to the development of careers for new and emerging music artists & bands. The 1st Video Band Contest is designed to educate, promote, develop and hopefully launch the International careers of some of up and coming artists, songwriters & bands. All music genres may apply for the 1st Video Band Contest plus all ages are eligible. Thorough this talent search we hope to foster a sense of community amongst all artists, bands, songwriters and music industry professionals.
By purchasing this app and registering for the contest at www.1stVideoBand.com you will be able to record, produce and edit your music video to be submitted to the contest between the dates May 1st until August 31th,

After you have downloaded the Ist Video Band app – you will receive a registration code and be able to register by going to the 1st Video Band website www.1stVideoBand.com.
The registration process will begin online May 1st, 2011, with end of submissions on Aug 31st and winning video prize announcements on October 30th 2011.
Preference shall be given to Artists who perform their own “Original” songs or songs co-written with other songwriters. No cover songs shall be accepted in assessing eligibility to the contest.

Judging:
Your music video will be review by 1st Video Band contest judges and the music industry insiders made up of Producers, Record & Film Industry Professionals and other artists. Your video submission can be a live music performance video, lip sync to original music, or concept video with story line. Judging Criteria include Creativity, Music & Song Quality, Interpretation and/or video story plus FAN RESPONSE (Video Views & Fan Ratings from 1 to 5)
Prizes:
Prize packages will include recordings with top producers and engineers, indie record deals, media campaigns, performance opportunities, concerts, professionally produced music videos, promotions, iPhone accessories plus awarding of unique prize packages for each region of the world the contest is being promoted etc.
