VeriCorder is a privately held company that has shares available for purchase by accredited investors only. The company is also an Eligible Business Corporation under the British Columbia Venture Capital program, so all BC-based investors qualify for a 30 per cent tax rebate.
Vericorder has completed two rounds of funding, and currently is raising funds to expand its expansion into enterprise software sales to media companies and educational institutions. The company will be releasing several revolutionary products in the fourth quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010.
VeriCorder was recently recognized by the Vancouver Angel Forum as one of the top investment prospects in British Columbia, and is the recipient of a $250,000 grant from the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP).
